The post and legs of this coat rack were cut from the center of a wood beam found in the porch of an abandoned house around the corner in North Camden. The house, 549 York Street, was built in the 1880’s. It caught on fire and was abandoned years ago. In October 2012 the house caught on fire again and was demolished with the two next to it.

The middle house is 549 York Street. When all three were demolished in October 2012, they were the only houses left on the block.
